The editors of Intonations, the graduate-student-led interdisciplinary journal of the University of Alberta’s departments of Music, Art & Design, and Drama & Performance, are excited to announce an extension of the call for papers for our upcoming special conference. The new deadline for submissions is June 26, 2024.

This conference will be held in a hybrid format (both in-person and online) on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the University of Alberta’s Edmonton campus. It aligns with our forthcoming special issue, “Emotional Wreckage in an Age of Advanced Technologies.” We encourage scholars submitting to the conference to consider submitting their work for this special issue as well.

Call for Papers:

We have extended the deadline for paper submissions to June 26, 2024. Scholars are encouraged to submit abstracts and supporting materials for consideration. Submissions should be anonymized and sent to intonats@ualberta.ca with the subject line “Wrecks & Tech.”
