ReSonare Volume 2 Issue 1, 2012
ReSonare, an online graduate journal based out of the University of Alberta's Department of Music, published its first issue in Spring 2011. ReSonare aimed to serve as an effective sounding board for all areas of music research, including but not limited to: ethnomusicology, musicology, music theory, composition, performance, philosophy of music, music technology and recording, music pedagogy, music cognition, and interdisciplinary studies through its multi-media capacity to facilitate the dissemination and discussion of music scholarship.
In 2017, the journal was relaunched as Intonations. In August 2019 it expanded its interdisciplinary scope and publishing aspirations as a collaboration between the Departments of Music, Art and Design, and Drama at the University of Alberta.
